Meet the Owner
Florentina Pojar is the founder of FP Accounting Services. She has over 8 years of experience in the private sector and knows what it takes to build a successful business. After graduating with a B.A. in Business Administration, she began her work career as a staff accountant helping small and medium sized businesses.
In 2016, Florentina took the entrepreneurial path and incorporated FP Accounting Services, as a one-stop shop for accounting and bookkeeping services. She worked with small businesses acting as their Financial Controller and CFO.
Florentina specializes in product setup, implementation, training, and support to QuickBooks end users, accountants, CPAs, and consulting services.
She also holds Certifications in QuickBooks Online and Desktop. Additionally, she is a certified bookkeeper, a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers, and a certified tax preparer holding the Enrolled Agent Credential issued by IRS.
Quick facts about Florentina: Wine connoisseur, she acquired level 1 sommelier certificate issued by WSET. Avid foodie, she loves exploring all the good restaurants in Chicago. Runs marathons for fun, her goal is to run all 6 major world marathons.
